
‘Solarfest’ draws astronomy enthusiasts to the capital
Amateur astronomers will have the chance to rub shoulders with the experts at a special event in Dublin today.
The Irish Federation of Astronomical Societies in conjunction with Dunsink Observatory is holding its annual ‘Solarfest’ today an event which celebrates the sun.
Irish and International scientists will be giving talks on the uniqueness of the sun’s relationship with earth.
